Services
From a claw trim to a full groom or clipping, I provide a range of bespoke grooming services to meet your cat’s needs from the comfort of their own home.
Important Information
Elderly cats, cats with health conditions, and cats with difficult behaviour or very thick or matted coats will need more care, time and attention. Your cat’s health and welfare is paramount during the grooming appointment as is my safety. If additional time is needed to achieve a comfortable and safe grooming experience, this will be discussed prior to the groom commencing at the consultation.
If your cat has a badly matted coat this will incur an additional cost between £20 to £50 depending on the severity of matting.
I do not provide wet bathing services from your home and do not offer or provide any flea treatments or services.
Cancellation Policy – I understand that life can be unpredictable and situations change. Appointments may be cancelled with a minimum of 48 hours notice and rearranged without incurring any additional charges. Rearranging within 24 hours of the appointment will incur the home visit fee of £20, while a complete cancellation without getting in touch will incur the cost of the full groom.
Travel Costs – I charge a home visit fee of £20 and a mileage fee will be discussed at the time of the enquiry. This is additional to the cost of the grooming service.

Full Groom
- Consultation
- Claw trimming
- Ear and eye cleaning with JP Mitchell pet products
- Brushing out the coat with JP Mitchell pet foam shampoo or conditioner
- Teasing out or clipping small knots or tangles as required
- Chest, paw and hygiene trimming on request
- Wiping body with JP Mitchell full body and paw bath wipes
Your cat might not need all of these services, the content of the full groom will be discussed during the initial consultation and the price of the groom adjusted accordingly.
*The prices shown above are a guide only. An estimated cost will be provided when booking an appointment. On the day of the grooming visit, a full hands-on consultation with your cat will be completed and a final cost will be given. The cost of the groom may change for reasons listed below:

Cats are born with an innate instinct to groom themselves, and mother cats will groom new born kittens to provide comfort and security.
Kittens learn how to groom themselves as they grow, spending a significant portion of their day cleaning themselves, with this routine bringing a sense of security and used to provide comfort in stressful or difficult situations.
However, their tongue can only remove surface dirt and debris and cannot penetrate deep enough to remove dead undercoat, mats and tangles.
This is where professional grooming can help – introducing your kitten to regular grooming sessions early will help them to feel more relaxed as it becomes part of their routine.
I use a step by step approach when introducing a kitten to professional grooming, as it is important to form a trusting relationship and ensure they feel secure during the appointment.
Booking Information
When booking an appointment, details of your cat’s size, age, breed, temperament and coat condition will be discussed so that I can properly accommodate their needs, ensure a comfortable grooming experience and provide you with an estimate cost.
At the end of your appointment, I will recommend a date for the next groom that I think suits your cat. If you choose to book after this recommended date, a pre-groom consultation will be required.
